Last night, our Upper School Speech Day was held in Summerlee Hall, a new location for the first time in a number of years. The Upper School pupils, parents and staff gathered together for one of the highlights of the academic year. The evening began with our school hymn before a few words from our Chair of Governors, Mrs Lorraine Wareing. Mr Berry followed with his Headmaster's Report before the audience were entertained with a little 'Motown Magic' from the very talented Concert Band. Mr Barrie Stacey, former KGS Headmaster, then presented this year’s prizes and trophies before delivering an inspiring address. School Captains, William Kollard and Charlotte O'Neill, gave a vote of thanks before the evening ended with The National Anthem.
Afterwards parents, pupils and staff enjoyed refreshments in the dining room.
Thank you to all of the parents and members of our wider school family who came along to join in celebrating our pupils' achievements!
