To celebrate Chinese New Year, KGJS Pre-School children had a week of Chinese New Year activities! They made spring rolls, had a Chinese New Year party, made Chinese musical instruments and masks, learned dance and movement during their Physical Development session and also made a Chinese Dragon which they then used in the outdoor area!
I1 pupils have loved learning about Chinese New Year. They learnt about the zodiac race, made Chinese lanterns and tasted Chinese food. They also made a dragon head and created their own dragon dance with musical instruments!
I2 pupils celebrated with a visit to Lou Shang in Lytham St. Annes. The children were treated to a wonderful banquet and were very ambitious in their tasting! They all had a good attempt with the chopsticks!
