Kind donations to our Music Department

Thank you to the Knagg/Cottam family who have kindly donated a Bechstein Grand Piano (pictured above) dating back to 1924 and belonging to the late Mrs Marion Knagg. Mrs Knagg's husband, Edward attended Kirkham Grammar School from 1910-1916, and we believe his father, Robert Yates Knagg, was a teacher at the school in the late 1800s.

We would also like to pass on our thanks to First Year pupil, Leoma, and the Gill Family who have donated an Offenbach Upright Piano (pictured to the left), belonging to Leoma’s late grandmother.
