To support their current topic, Exploring Autumn, our Kirkham Grammar School I1 pupils recently visited Lowther Gardens in Lytham St Anne's.
As they walked through the gardens looking for signs of autumn, the pupils were encouraged to use their senses to describe what they could see, hear, smell and touch. One of their favourite activities was creating leaf rubbings with crayons as well as collecting lots of autumn treasures, which they were all excited to explore once they arrived back at school.
We hope the children are really enjoying exploring through Autumn treasures during their half term and applying all the wonderful skills they have learnt.
