YOUR NEXT TWO YEARS STARTS HERE

Kirkham Grammar School is a place with a rich history and a repuation built on excellence for all.  by combining a first class teaching with a deeply supportive environment, we have created a community where you can truly learn, grow and succeed.

Our Sixth Form enjoys a proud tradition of academic achievement, and I look forward to guiding our students as they strive for excellence during their final years at our school.

While academic success remains at the heart of our ethos, I am equally committed to providing a rich and varied Sixth form experience - one that fosters personal growth, leadership skills, and readiness for life beyond KGS.  Whether pupils choose to progress to university, apprenticeships, or direct employment, they will receive exceptional careers and higher education support to ensure they are confident and fully prepared for the future.

My aim is to cultivate a welcoming, inclusive community where every pupil feels supported, valued and inspired to fulfil their potential.  Through a wide range of enrichment activities, leadership opportunities, and dedicated pastoral care, we will nurture resilient, well-rounded young people equipped to thrive in an ever-changing world.

Meet our 2025-2026 Pupil Voice Leaders:

Our Pupil voice Leaders play an important role in making sure that the views, ideas and experiences of our students are heard, valued and acted upon.

As representatives of the student body, Pupil Voice Leaders provide a link between students and staff, helping to identify what is working well and where improvements could be made.  They encourage students to share their opinions, listen to different perspectives and work collaboratively to help shape the sixth form community.

As senior members of our school community, Pupil voice Leaders also serve as positive role models for both their sixth form peers and our senior school students.  Through their attitude, conduct, confidence and commitment, they demonstrate the values and expectations of our school and provide younger students with positive examples of leadership, responsibility and active participation in school life.

The role requires students who are approachable, responsible and willing to speak up on behalf of others.  Our Pupil voice Leaders will have opportunities to contribute to discussions, support student lead initiatives and help create a positive, inclusive and ambitious environment for everyone.

We are proud to give our students an active voice in the development of our sixth form and look forward to seeing the positive impact our Pupil Voice Leaders will make.
